Cór na nÓg Inis Céin youth choir is resuming rehearsals on Monday night September 18th 2023 in Enniskeane Church from 7:15pm to 8.00pm.
New members from first class up are very welcome (any child under 8 must be accompanied by a parent). Resistration can be done with the coordinating parents at the practice. Enquiries Margaret 086-8632774.
The Parish Assembly is a good indicator of the vitality of a parish faith community.
Enniskeane and Desertserges parishioners nominated their first parish assembly in 2016.
People serve a three-year term in leadership and action in the parish.

Nominations close on June 19th. Nominees will be contacted and invited to an Information Meeting for newly nominated members will be held in Castletown Church on Tuesday evening June 28th where everyone will meet and find out what’s involved so people can then decide to commit to it or not.
Our Parish Assembly’s term of service is out since last year but they kindly agreed to stay involved until this year — to allow for the impact of Covid19.
So the parish is asking everyone in our faith community to think about nominating themselves or someone else to be a member.

Fr. Tom Casey is a Dublin priest who was ordained in 1993 and has taught in post-primary school, worked in parish and lectured in Rome.
At the invitation of the Faith Development Group of the Enniskeane Parish Assembly he will share his wisdom and experience of the challenges in being a Catholic in today’s fast-paced and challenging world. The topic will interest all concerned with passing on the faith to the young as well as anyone trying to make sense of their faith.
