Sponsorship update & Dedication date

As of today, the Feast of St. Finbarr, September 25th, two thirds of the pipes in the Pipe Organ being installed in the parish church in Enniskeane have now been dedicated to named people. That’s 450 of the 678 pipes, or 66%. Many thanks to all who have contributed. There is still time to dedicate one of the organ’s pipes using the secure payment system of this site.
The date for the blessing and dedication of the Pipe Organ has also been set. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception whose feast day is December 8th. Bishop John Buckley, Bishop of Cork & Ross, will be the principal celebrant at a special Mass on the evening of Dec 7th (Friday), 2012, at which the organ will be blessed and solemnly dedicated to all whose names have been enrolled.
The Mass will be followed by a short organ recital.
