Many thanks to all the people who took part in and created a solemn and prayerful spirit at the Masses for the first day of our Novena of Masses for the Holy Souls.
(Photo taken at entrance to Castletown Kinneigh Church this eve.)
May our deceased loved ones and parishioners have the light of Heaven.

As October ebbs away, we embrace winter with a celebration that is all about people -- our people included. All Saints Day on November 1st, is a thanksgiving day. A day for celebrating the people whose journeys are complete.
And it's, perhaps, because we so easily forget to give thanks, that the Church treats this day as a Holy Day and attaches to it an obligation for Catholics to go to Mass.
On Wednesday, November 1st, Masses for the feast day are at Enniskeane Church at 10.30am and 7.30pm.
