First Holy Communion Dates 2013

First Holy Communion Dates 2013 (final update!)
It is necessary to change the previously published date of the First Holy Communion Mass in Ahiohill church.  (Sorry for any inconvenience.)
The dates of the Masses at which the children will receive for the first time are as follows:-

  • Sat APRIL 20th at Ahiohill Church (Ahiohill and Kilcolman schools)
  • Sat May 4th at Castletown Church (Coppeen school)
  • Sat May 11th at Enniskeane Church (Enniskeane school)

While the First Holy Communion Masses are separate, the parish preparation towards those dates will be done centrally. Families will be invited in November to participate in the “Do This in Memory” parish programme which will begin with an enrolment ceremony on Sunday Nov 25th. The enrolment and the DTIM programme will be held in Enniskeane church at one Sunday Mass each month during the year.

Dedication Certificates being delivered

The specially printed souvenir Certificates which record the dedications of the pipes in the organ are being printed and delivered. A few hundred have already been posted … but if you have not received yours don’t panic, please! The remainder will be processed and posted in the coming two weeks.

(It happen that some people who have sponsored more than one pipe will receive some ahead of the others. This is because the pipes are assigned at random.)

Thanks to all who have sponsored pipes in the organ.
